ZAGREB, March 13 (Hina) - The Iraqi crisis is the reason why tourist
bookings in the past two weeks are at a standstill. Up until two
weeks ago, Croatia had by far the best bookings among the
Mediterranean countries, Croatian Tourism Minister Pave Zupan
Ruskovic said at a government session on Thursday. #L#
The minister, however, said she was optimistic about the main
season and the autumn and added that there was no need for panicking
and reducing prices.
She said she expected a physical increase of three to five percent
and a financial of about 10 percent.
