Ambassador Ivan Grdesic is attending a three-day conference on
global economy that has been organised by Nebraska-Kearney
University's Faculty for Business and Technology.
He said that as a Central European country Croatia could not avoid
the impact of globalisation, and that it would use its advantages by
focusing on tourism and the production of healthy food.
Grdesic also spoke about Croatia's democratic transition, foreign
policy priorities, access to the European Union and NATO, the
importance of economic reforms, and economic relations with the
United States.
