ZAGREB, Feb 28 (Hina) - Next week Croatia will present its tourist
potential at the largest international tourism stock market "ITB
2003" to be held from March 7 to 11 in Berlin. Croatia will be the
host country this year on March 7 at the official opening which
means that it will be responsible to prepare a musical-theatrical
programme and enological and gastronomic presentation for about
4,500 guests, the Croatian National Tourist Board (HTZ) reported on

According to HTZ's director Niko Bulic, Croatia's presentation at
this year's Berlin ITB is the largest marketing action by the HTZ on
the German market and the most significant for Croatia's tourism.
Several Croatian artists and musical groups will be involved at the
ceremony for the official opening.
After the cultural and musical presentation of Croatia's heritage,
guests will see Croatia's eno-gastronomic offer which will be
prepared by twenty of Croatia's finest cooks throughout Croatia.
This is the first time that Croatia's largest food producer,
Podravka will be involved in such a presentation.
The HTZ will have a tourist stand covering 300 square metres which
will include a Croatia Airlines and Jadrolinija shipping
counters.
The ITB is the largest tourism market in the world and this year it
will cover about 80 thousand square metres with more than 2,362
German and 7,320 foreign exhibitors.
