Rexhepi said Kosovo's institutions would cooperate in building
Kosovo's statehood and defining its final status.
He said his government would be more efficient this year as it would
be given more authorities by the U.N. mission in the province.
U.N. Civil Administrator Michael Steiner said Kosovo's government
would get all the authorities which it was possible to give it.
The government still does not have three important ministries - for
foreign policy, internal affairs and justice, whose tasks are still
within Steiner's jurisdiction.
The Kosovo government was set up on March 4 2002 as a result of an
agreement on joint administration which ended the province's
constitutional blockade.
Next week Rexhepi will submit a report on the government's work in
parliament.
