SIBENIK, March 4 (Hina) - The case in Sibenik Municipal Court against Slavko Lozina, a judge at the Split County Court, continued on Tuesday. Lozina is charged with causing a traffic accident and failing to offering aid to a seriously
injured person in that accident that occurred in April last year in Split.

The main hearing was brought back to the start because more than two
and a half months had passed by since the first hearing.
Lozina stated that he did not commit a punishable crime as charged
and that on April 18, 2002 he was not involved in the traffic
accident in question.
"That is just part of a campaign being waged against me in an effort
to discredit me as a man and a judge and anyone could be involved in a
traffic accident," he said.
The continuation of the main hearing was not set.
Lozina is better known to the public for his ruling to acquit a group
of former military policemen, charged for war crimes in the so-
called Lora trial.
