ZAGREB, March 4 (Hina) - The profit of the Privredna Banka Zagreb Group in 2002 before taxation amounted to 814 million kuna (EUR107 million), up 20.4 percent from 2001, while the net profit grew by 10.3 percent to 641 million kuna
(EUR84.3 million).

million), up 20.4 percent from 2001, while the net profit grew by

The group's assets totalled 35.1 billion kuna (EUR4.6 billion), an
increase of 11.2 percent, while deposits grew by 11.5 percent.
Deposits in the group's principal institution, Privredna Banka
Zagreb (PBZ), increased by 12 percent.
PBZ's gross profit totalled 669 million kuna (EUR88 million), up
20.3 percent from 2001, while the net profit stood at 530 million
kuna (EUR69.7 million).
Last year PBZ increased its assets by 11 percent to 30.63 billion
(EUR4 billion), according to a report adopted by the supervisory
board.
