ZAGREB, Feb 28 (Hina) - Industrial production in Croatia between November 2002 and January 2003 increased by 8.2% in relation to the same period the year before, the Central Bureau of Statistics reported.
ZAGREB, Feb 28 (Hina) - Industrial production in Croatia between
November 2002 and January 2003 increased by 8.2% in relation to the
same period the year before, the Central Bureau of Statistics

Compared to production in last year's August-October period, the
overall industrial production in the November-January period
remained the same.
According to the national classification of industrial branches, a
comparison of the November-January period and the same period the
previous year shows that production increased the most in the
mining and extraction industry, 24.8%. Production in processing
and power, gas and water supply industries increased by 8.2% and
5.9% respectively.
According to the main industrial groups, the production of
intermediary products increased the most, by 11.6%. The production
of non-durable and durable consumer goods and power rose by 8.6%,
7.5% and 3.1% respectively.
