They were joined by representatives of non-governmental
organisations from Zagreb, Osijek, and Belgrade.
The rally was organised by local media. Organisers said the anti-
war stance did not constitute support to either Iraqi President
Saddam Hussein or to the "war machinery" of U.S. President George W.
Bush.
