court". #L#
"This is their problem. I have nothing to comment on the subject,
it's a village court," Panic told Novi Sad's "Dnevnik" daily
commenting on the indictment issued against him, Veljko Kadijevic,
Blagoje Adzic, Zvonko Jurjevic, Bozidar Stevanovic, Mile Mrksic,
Veselin Sljivancanin, Miroslav Radic, Goran Hadzic and Radicals
leader Vojislav Seselj, who turned himself in to the international
war crimes tribunal two days ago.
Savo Strbac, a president of "Veritas", a non-governmental
organisation, told the same daily that proceedings against 4,530
people were currently being conducted in Croatia for war crimes, of
whom 35 were Croats and the rest Serb civilians or members of the
former JNA. He added that Croatia had so far issued arrest warrants
through the Interpol against 395 indictees. Twelve have been
arrested and extradited to Croatia.
