Covic submitted the irreversible resignation as a sign of protest
against the new law on Croatian Radio Television, which in his
opinion, revokes progress achieved so far in creating a public
television.
The chairman of the Croatian Radio Television Council, Vlatko
Silobrcic, resigned last week also due to disagreement with the new
law.
