Russ Checa respectively, the President's Office said in a statement.

Thursday received letters of credence of three newly-appointed
ambassadors of Spain, Kazakhstan and Peru: Alvaro Sebastian de
Erica y Gomez-Acebo, Rakhat Aliyev and Guillermo Russ Checa
respectively, the President's Office said in a statement. #L#
The new Spanish ambassador to Zagreb said Madrid was willing to help
Croatia on the difficult path of reforms, and recalled that his
country was one of the first states to ratify Croatia's
Stabilisation and Association Agreement with the European Union.
The ambassador form Kazakhstan said visits of the Croatian and
Kazakh officials to the two countries in 2001 and 2002 gave a new
impetus to the development of the bilateral relations.
The new Peruvian ambassador recalled the contribution of Croatian
immigrants, who had arrived in that Latin American country at the
start of 20th century, to the development of his country.
