The team, which included a guest inspector from the Netherlands and
was accompanied by representatives of the Defence Ministry's arms
control service, visited Sveti Kriz barracks at Dracevac.
As a signatory to the Vienna Document of 1999, Croatia must receive
two visits by foreign inspection teams annually.
Karanikos said that the purpose of the visit was, along with
improving cooperation among countries which signed the Vienna
document, increasing security measures in the area covered by the
4th Corps and assess Croatia's fulfilment of obligations from the
Vienna Document.
