Along with standard employment mediation services, Adecco will for
the first time offer "temporary employment", the agency's
executive director Alan Wittner said.
The institute "temporary employment" is comparable to the existing
services provided by cleaning or security agencies, but Adecco will
offer such services for a very wide range of businesses in industry,
tourism, administration etc.
"Temporary employment" will be provided in cases when the employer
cannot employ new workers due to a legal ban or some other reason,
when there is an increased need for labour due to an expanded scope
of activities, when permanently employed workers are absent etc.
Adecco currently employs 700,000 workers with temporary work
contracts all around the world.
Adecco provides services to those seeking employment as well as
those wishing to change their job, Wittner said.
The agency will establish a curriculum vitae data base, select
staff, actively seek employment for candidates and help employers
chose the best candidate in as short a period of time as possible.
The agency will also organise training courses and special
programmes for the least employable groups.
