ZAGREB, Feb 4 (Hina) - The management and union of Borovo will draw up a programme to provide for redundancies in this footwear company by the end of this month at the latest. The programme will be forwarded to regional employment
services and resolve the payment of severance for said workers.

The programme will be drafted in line with the labour act. In the
meantime, not one of the 2,230 unassigned workers will be sacked and
they will continue receiving all contributions.
This conclusion was reached on Tuesday at a meeting of
representatives of Borovo's management and union, the Croatian
Privatisation Fund, Vukovar-Srijem County, and the workers
themselves.
The meeting was convened by Vitomir Begovic, the head of the
government's office for social partnership, and was held there.
