According to the same sources, the two sides drew closer in their
standpoints during yesterday's negotiations.
Should the government and the HLS reach an agreement, doctors will
not implement the announced reduction of the scope of their
services. Otherwise, the union has announced that as of tomorrow
hospitals will take only emergency cases or patients whose lives
are in jeopardy.
The doctors' strike began on January 15 and if the two parties fail
to reach an agreement, the strike will enter its 21st day tomorrow.
