public debates on war damages to Croatia but will try to end this by
the path it has already taken, namely wait for a verdict of the
International Court of Justice at The Hague, with which it has filed
a complaint against Yugoslavia, Prime Minister Ivica Racan said on

The government is obliged to assume such an attitude, the premier
said.
Croatia has filed a complaint with the international court at The
Hague against Yugoslavia, maintaining the right to seek
reparations, Racan said at the start of a government session.
Racan thus commented on public debates on war damages, which now, as
he said, gained an international character.
