The ministry is willing to continue negotiations with the HLS and to
jointly analyse and review any possible irregularities in the
existing decrees on coefficients, the ministry's statement said.
The ministry is also willing to bring negotiations to an end
concerning a branch collective agreement in the health sector and
in that regard, should it be prove necessary, come to a special
agreement with doctors.
The ministry noted that in the past three years the number of
unemployed doctors has been decreased and the Croatian Institute
for Health Insurance will this year advertise for a further 186
general practise units for primary health care.
That means that 229 doctors, 302 dentists, 52 pharmacists and 583
medical staff will find jobs this year.
