The three Stabilisation Force members refused to show their
identification documents, police said in a statement.
SFOR officer Robert Alvarez confirmed the three men were American
soldiers.
Two empty clips and two Beretta pistols from which the shots were
fired were found in their vehicle.
Mirsad Cavar, the owner of the Renault 19 that was damaged, told
Sarajevo canton police and the SFOR the U.S. soldiers fired several
shots and then banged on his car, which was parked by a road, with
wood poles.
The SFOR has launched a probe into the matter.
