ZAGREB, Jan 16 (Hina) - The Croatian government on Thursday adopted a decision to set up a consulate in Kansas City in the United States. The consulate will be led by a honorary consul.

a decision to set up a consulate in Kansas City in the United States.

The draft decision was sent to Croatian President, for further
necessary procedure, read a statement released by the press office
of the government after its closed session.
The Ivica Racan Cabinet decided to establish diplomatic relations
with the Democratic Republic of East Timor.
The government gave the green light for the deployment of two
Interior Ministry employees in the OSCE mission in Kosovo. The two
are Croatian police officers, who should take part in the OSCE
(Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe) monitoring
mission in Kosovo. They were selected according to the OSCE's
invitation for bids of police instructors.
The government decided to initiate the procedure for conclusion of
an agreement with Spain on the mutual recognition and replacement
of driving licences.
It adopted a report on negotiations on an agreement on the
encourgement and mutual protection of investments which Zagreb is
intending to conclude with Libya.
