They have requested that two vehicles, cameras and other
confiscated equipment worth EUR165,000, be returned to them. The
Milosevic regime at the time claimed that the equipment was
destroyed in the shelling.
Schnitzler and Glisovic were arrested in April 1999 under the
suspicion of being NATO spies, and spent a month in a military
prison, their attorney, Djordje Kalanj, told reporters Tuesday.
Last May, a Belgrade municipal court ruled that Schnitzler had been
illegally deprived of freedom, and ordered compensation of 80,000
dinars (about EUR1,300) to be paid to him.
The law suit lodged by Glisovic is still ongoing.
