The series, that was co-produced by Croatian Radiotelevision and
"Zora Film", shows Croat immigrants in Chile from the mid 19th
Century to World War II.
It presents the fate of certain immigrants and the success achieved
by members of the Croatian Diaspora in various areas of life in
Chilean society as well as the huge contribution by Croats to the
culture of Chile.
The principle of the Croatian Homeland Foundation Boris Maruna
reminded that the documentary was the continuation of a large
project about Croats in Chile which was presented in Zagreb last
year with a large exhibition.
According to Ambassador Grez, the documentary enables a
reconstruction of past events and outlines and confirms the
significant place Croats had in various areas of life in Chile since
their arrival to their new homeland.
Ljubomir Antic's second supplemented edition of "Croats and
America" was also presented in Mimara today.
