ZAGREB STOCK EXCHANGE CLOSES THURSDAY AT 25.4 MILLION KUNA ZAGREB, Jan 9 (Hina) - The Zagreb Stock Exchange closed on Thursday with a turnover of 25.4 million kuna (approx. EUR3.38 million). The value of the Crobex index dropped by
0.36% to 1,164 points while the value of the bond index Crobis rose by 0.06% to 101.6050 points.
ZAGREB, Jan 9 (Hina) - The Zagreb Stock Exchange closed on Thursday
with a turnover of 25.4 million kuna (approx. EUR3.38 million). The
value of the Crobex index dropped by 0.36% to 1,164 points while the
value of the bond index Crobis rose by 0.06% to 101.6050 points.

Trade in bonds accounted for the largest part of today's turnover,
most of which was realised in institutional transactions,
totalling more than 22 million kuna.
The highest individual turnover in shares, totalling 271,100 kuna,
was realised through trade in the shares of the pharmaceutical
company Pliva. The price of Pliva's shares dropped by 1.19% to 510
kuna. The leading national confectionery producer, Kras, saw the
second largest turnover in shares, totalling 197,660 kuna. The
price of Kras shares rose by 0.04 percent to 250.23 kuna.
