"The Serbian government's attitude towards Ashdown's move is negative," Labus said on state television on Saturday evening, adding that Ashdown's decision would "destabilise not only Bosnia-Herzegovina but the entire region".
The deputy prime minister said that "the consequences of such a decision will be negative" although Ashdown "may have had good intentions".
Commenting on Ashdown's statement that the dissolution of the Bosnian Serb entity could not be ruled out, Labus said that "the Dayton peace agreement, which provides for its existence, is an international treaty and any unilateral change of it cannot be good."
