ZAGREB, Dec 17 (Hina) - The extraordinary assembly of shareholders inCroatian Telecommunications (T-HT) on Friday decided to pay 3.525billion kuna of dividends to the shareholders in the company -- theCroatian government and Deutsche
Telekom. The amount was ensured fromprofit netted this and in past years which has so far been kept asretained profit.
ZAGREB, Dec 17 (Hina) - The extraordinary assembly of shareholders in
Croatian Telecommunications (T-HT) on Friday decided to pay 3.525 billion kuna
of dividends to the shareholders in the company -- the Croatian government and
Deutsche Telekom. The amount was ensured from profit netted this and in past
years which has so far been kept as retained profit.According to a press release from the T-HT, the dividends will be paid
to the two shareholders proportionally to stock they hold in the equity capital
of the company. The Deutsche Telekom holds now 51 percent.
The T-HT reported that the retained profit covered the 2001-2003
period.
Finance Minister Ivan Suker said earlier this week that he expected the
T-HT to pay about two billion kuna as dividends to the state budget by December
27 this year.
