The workshop was organised by the Croatian Justice Ministry and the Swedesurvey, the Swedish state-owned company which helps other countries to establish efficient land registers. The Zagreb event is part of a five-year project launched in Croatia in order to help it sort out land books and cadastral data. The project is led by the World Bank. The Swedish government allocates 6.5 million Swedish krona (SEK) for this purpose annually. The first stage wrapped up in February this year, involving about 120 judges, managers and land measurers. The second stage of the project is under way.
