SARAJEVO, Dec 13 (Hina) - Bosnian Serb Milovan Zec, who has beensentenced to 12 months in prison for war crimes in Croatia without theright to appeal, is a member of the Bosnia-Herzegovina state borderservice, and the Bosnian
authorities have not made any effort toarrest him and send him to jail, Sarajevo-based Oslobodjenje dailysaid on Monday.
SARAJEVO, Dec 13 (Hina) - Bosnian Serb Milovan Zec, who has been
sentenced to 12 months in prison for war crimes in Croatia without the right to
appeal, is a member of the Bosnia-Herzegovina state border service, and the
Bosnian authorities have not made any effort to arrest him and send him to
jail, Sarajevo-based Oslobodjenje daily said on Monday.Zec, who has been sentenced for having abused Croatian injured people
who were detained by rebel Serbs from Krajina, is currently working at the
Dobrljin border crossing in the Bosanski Novi region.
"Zec was sentenced in absentia in Croatia and he is not a convict under
the Bosnian law," deputy director of the Bosnian border service Nijaz Spahic
said commenting on the case.
