"I have no prejudices, I know what I will do for Kosovo," Haradinai told Belgrade-based Beta news agency.
Haradinai said that the Serbian government's plan for Kosovo was not realistic, but that the Kosovo government was open to new proposals.
He described Belgrade's policy towards Kosovo as one of confusion, adding that this was the reason why many Serbs were left outside the ongoing processes in Kosovo.
Authorities in Belgrade have expressed their displeasure over the election of Haradinai as prime minister because they hold him responsible for war crimes committed against the Serbs in the late 1990s.
Haradinai has been interviewed by investigators from the Hague war crimes tribunal in connection with his role as one of the commanders of the Kosovo Liberation Army.
