OSIJEK, Nov 27 (Hina) - A Croatian war veteran and retired army officer, Damir Huber from the eastern city of Osijek, and his friend, Serb Orthodox priest Miron Vucicevic of Dalj, who holds the highest monastic title of archmandrit, teach aikido to some 80 members of an aikido club in Osijek.

Huber, who heads a martial arts school which includes the aikido club, has said that the purpose of the project is to help young people avoid drug addiction.

Serbia and Montenegro's consul in Vukovar, Milan Sapic, who visited the aikido club on Saturday, said that the cooperation between the Croatian war veteran and the Orthodox priest was the best proof of practical ecumenism.

Miron Vucicevic is the first associate of the Serb Orthodox bishop of Osijek and Baranja, Lukijan, and heads the office for catechism of the Serb Orthodox Church in Croatia.
