"I don't know why somebody should be offended by the tattoo I had done on my own body. It means something to me and it is not directed against other people," Gurovic told Novi Sad's Dnevnik daily of Wednesday.
"Maradona has a tattoo with the image of Che Guevara, but that does not prevent him from travelling to the United States," Gurovic said, adding that claims by the Croatian media that he might not be allowed to enter Greece or Turkey because of the tattoo were "nonsense".
"That's nonsense which I don't want to comment. I have visited those countries many times since I had this tattoo done and nobody was bothered by it. I don't know whey why should be bothered either," Gurovic said.
