NHS FEDERATION: MINIMUM COSTS OF LIVING WERE 777 EUROS IN OCTOBER

ZAGREB, Nov 27 (Hina) - The Croatian Independent Trade Unions (NHS)federation reported that minimum costs of living for the averagefour-member family in October came to 5,905 kuna (approx. 777 euros) ,which was a rise by 4.64 percent that in September.
ZAGREB, Nov 27 (Hina) - The Croatian Independent Trade Unions (NHS) federation reported that minimum costs of living for the average four-member family in October came to 5,905 kuna (approx. 777 euros) , which was a rise by 4.64 percent that in September.

The average salary paid in September came to 4,132 kuna (approx. 544 euros) covering, thus, 69.97 percent of minimum costs (a decrease by 4.61 percent than in the previous month), the NHS reported on Saturday.

The highest monthly costs for the average four-member family were registered in Zadar (6,292 kuna).

Zadar is followed by Varazdin in which the consumer basket cost 6,204 kuna.

The average four-member family in the capital of Zagreb had to ensure 5922 kuna to cover monthly costs of food, hygiene, clothes, housing, transport and culture.

According to the NHS, in Rijeka it was necessary to ensure 5,333 kuna to cover the said costs in October.
