BELGRADE, Nov 15 (Hina) - Serbia-Montenegro and Croatia have agreed totransfer the first group of Serbian and Montenegrin citizens servingprison terms in the Lepoglava prison in Croatia to Serbia-Montenegro,but no date has been set
yet, Serbia-Montenegro's Human and MinorityRights Minister Rasim Ljajic said in Belgrade on Monday.
BELGRADE, Nov 15 (Hina) - Serbia-Montenegro and Croatia have agreed
to transfer the first group of Serbian and Montenegrin citizens serving prison
terms in the Lepoglava prison in Croatia to Serbia-Montenegro, but no date has
been set yet, Serbia-Montenegro's Human and Minority Rights Minister Rasim
Ljajic said in Belgrade on Monday.Ljajic told the B92 television network on Monday evening that the
agreement had been reached earlier in the day at his meeting with Croatian
Justice Minister Vesna Skare Ozbolt.
"We have agreed to start with the transfer of the first group of
convicts. I will visit the prisoners in that prison on Friday, and it has been
agreed to continue with the implementation of that agreement. I believe we will
soon be given documents on the prison sentences for the first group of
prisoners so that we can start their transfer to Serbia-Montenegro," Ljajic
said.
