ZAGREB, Nov 11 (Hina) - The Croatian government on Thursday proposed tothe parliament to ratify the Memorandum of Agreement on the USEuropean Command related to the use of air space, training ranges, andair and naval ports for
purposes of the training of US forces inEurope, signed in July this year.
ZAGREB, Nov 11 (Hina) - The Croatian government on Thursday proposed
to the parliament to ratify the Memorandum of Agreement on the US European
Command related to the use of air space, training ranges, and air and naval
ports for purposes of the training of US forces in Europe, signed in July this
year.At bilateral defence consultations held in Washington in July, the US
side showed its intention to invest certain funds into the reconstruction of
the training range at Slunj, with funds to become available once the Memorandum
goes into force.
The government today appointed Ivo Bacic assistant defence minister in
charge of the material resources department.
