BELGRADE, Nov 10 (Hina) - Several association of Serb refugees from
Croatia in Serbia and Montenegro, hailed the arrival of Croatian Prime Minister
Ivo Sanader in Belgrade, scheduled for November 15, and said that the problems
regarding the restitution of their property and other property issues should
be one of the important topics of the coming talks in Belgrade, Belgrade-based
Vecernje Novosti daily said on Wednesday."The Croatian government's attempt to avoid the restitution of tenancy
rights to about 40,000 Serb refugees by introducing a housing plan only shows
that Zagreb does not have a sincere wish that Serb refugees return to Croatia
or that their property be returned to them," representatives of nine
associations of Serb refugees said. They added that Croatia mist
unconditionally return the property rights to all those who lost those rights
during the Tudjman rule.
According to the daily, representatives of Serb refugee associations
will forward to Serb Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica and President Boris
Tadic a list of their problems and priorities in the solving of obstacles to
their return to Croatia and the restitution of their property. Serb refugees
expect the Serb officials to present the list to Croatian PM Sanader.
