The body was brought to the town's central cemetery by a driver from Osijek, who picked it up in Turkey.
Burazovic's funeral will be held tomorrow.
The 30-year-old was killed in a rebels' attack on a truck convoy near Mosul, a town close to the Iraqi-Turkish border, more than two weeks ago. The fact that Croatia and Iraq do not have diplomatic ties presented a problem in bringing the body to the Turkish border. Due to the situation on the ground, poor communication and administrative problems, Croatian drivers managed to collect the body from Mosul's Forensics Institute on Saturday instead of on Wednesday.
