LONDON, Nov 8 (Hina) - The Association of Independent Tour Operators(AITO) from Great Britain declared Croatia this year's touristdestination number one among the Mediterranean countries according tothe quality and safety of food, Croatian State Secretary in charge oftourism affairs Zdenko Micic who attending the 25th World TravelMarket -- WTM 2004 -- in London which opened on Monday.
LONDON, Nov 8 (Hina) - The Association of Independent Tour Operators (AITO) from Great Britain declared Croatia this year's tourist destination number one among the Mediterranean countries according to the quality and safety of food, Croatian State Secretary in charge of tourism affairs Zdenko Micic who attending the 25th World Travel Market -- WTM 2004 -- in London which opened on Monday.

At the end of summer the AITO conducted a survey among 3,500 of its passengers who rated Croatia better than Cyprus, Turkey, Spain and other countries.

The results will be announced at the AITO annual conference in Croatia's Dubrovnik on November 18-21.

Croatia will also present its tourist offer at London's World Travel Market on Novembet 11.
