The seventh annual concert was organised by the Council for National Minorities in Croatia, under the auspices of Prime Minister Ivo Sanader who said that minorities were something which enriched Croatia.
On that occasion Sanader reiterated that his government advocated tolerance, dialogue and coexistence in society. The PM went on to say that national minorities were bridges between Croatia and their ethnic motherlands and thanked minorities for supporting Croatia's efforts to enter the European Union.
He also promised to increase by 10 percent funds for the said Council.
The concert was performed by groups of ethnic Czechs, Hungarians, Macedonians, Poles, Montenegrins, Roma, Bosniaks, Slovenes, Albanians, Jews, Slovaks and Serbs.
