ZAGREB, Nov 7 (Hina) - Former Croatian Parliament president Zlatko Tomcic and ministers in the former Ivica Racan-led government Radimir Cacic and Gordana Sobol, have said that the incumbent Prime Minister, Ivo Sanader, accused them, without arguments, of being in conflict of interest during their term in office because he wanted to protect his Foreign Minister Miomir Zuzul from accusations of being in conflict of interest under all costs.

Sanader said in Osijek on Saturday and in Pula on Sunday that he wanted the whole truth about the Zuzul case as well as the complete truth about all scandals of the previous government. He cited the cases involving Cacic and Tomcic whose companies had been getting highway construction jobs and the case of Gordana Sobol who was a minister at the time and her husband an assistant minister in the former government.

Tomcic said on Sunday that Sanader cannot erase the accusations against Zuzul by dragging other people in the scandal.

With great pleasure I am waiting for Sanader to start functioning as the prime minister, Tomcic said. He has all instruments in his hands, therefore he should investigate into the business dealing of Cacic, Tomcic and Zuzul and all other dealings that he finds suspicious and present the public with the results of his investigation, Tomcic told Croatian Radio.

Former Reconstruction and Construction Minister Cacic said Sanader was attacking people without arguments.

A former minister in Racan's government, Sobol, said she did not understand why the PM mentioned her and her husband, given that they were no longer holding those offices.
