MOSTAR, Nov 6 (Hina) - The exhumation of the second largest mass grave in Bosnia-Herzegovina, at Stari Kevljani near Prijedor in the north of the country, has ended, Missing Persons Commission chairman Amor Masovic said on Saturday, adding the remains of nearly 400 Croats and Muslims were exhumed.

Masovic said documents found in the grave proved the victims had most likely been detained in the infamous Serb-run camps Omarska and Keraterm. He added several prominent figures from Prijedor were among the victims.

According to the Independent News Agency from Mostar, Masovic said more than 250 complete and about 150 incomplete skeletons were exhumed. He added the victims were most probably killed near Prijedor and were not originally buried at Stari Kevljani.

Four Bosnian Serbs -- Dusko Sikirica, Damir Dosen, Dragan Kolundzija, and Predrag Banovic -- have admitted before the Hague war crimes tribunal to crimes committed at Omarska and Keraterm. The U.N. tribunal has accused more than 10 former commandants and guards of the two camps for the killing and maltreatment of hundreds of Croats and Muslims during the 1990s war in Bosnia.

To date 362 mass graves have been discovered in Bosnia from which the remains of more than 16,000 war victims have been exhumed.
