"I have congratulated President Bush on his re-election, and I can say that his victory is a surprise for me," Zuzul told Hina.
"As far as foreign policy is concerned, I think relations between the EU and the US will calm down. As for Croatia, I do not think there will be any change towards it. We will continue developing our bilateral relations, and already next week US Assistant Secretary of State Elizabeth Jones arrives in Croatia to attend a meeting of the US-Adriatic Charter in Brijuni," he said.
Zuzul said that Croatia expected support from the US administration for its efforts to join NATO.
