"I resolutely dismiss the statement by Croatian President Stjepan Mesic which is an attempt to revise the Homeland War, which was a defensive, just and liberating war," Kosor said in a statement.
She added that it was known that Croatia was a victim of the great-Serbian aggression in which Serbian and Montenegrin forces, as well as the Yugoslav People's Army, had taken part.
"I would like to ask President Mesic who destroyed Dubrovnik, pillaged Konavle and captured and tortured Croatian soldiers in camps such as Morinj? If what President Mesic is saying is true, then why did some Montenegrin politicians apologise to Croatia? They admitted what the Croatian president is negating," reads the statement.
Kosor said she advocated "the full truth about the Homeland War" as well as "the normalisation of relations with Serbia and Montenegro on the principle of mutual recognition, respect and clear European prospects".
President Mesic stated that Croatia and Montenegro had never been at war while speaking about the benefits of European integration after a meeting with Montenegrin Foreign Minister Miodrag Vlahovic on Saturday.
