Commenting on Tuesday's statement by the SDP leader and parliamentary opposition coordinator, Ivica Racan, that the opposition was prepared to boycott parliamentary committee sessions until the HDZ changed its behaviour in the parliament, Kajin said that the IDS would decide on its own what to do.
"Citizens did not choose us to boycott the parliament, and our choice should be an open and unrelenting fight with the HDZ," Kajin said at a press conference.
Kajin also said he was against suspension of live television broadcasts from parliament sessions, adding that such a decision would mainly affect citizens and small parties.
He said his party supported amending the Constitution to ensure that the Bosniak and Slovene minorities were mentioned in the constitutional preamble.
"We are also considering the possibility of re-introducing a House of Counties (upper chamber of parliament) if that would promote regionalism," Kajin said.
