Society Napredak has called on Croatia's authorities to continue actively
helping Croats and their institutions in Bosnia-Herzegovina, and has appealed
on Bosnian Croat officials to encourage Bosnian Croats to stay in Bosnia.Addressing Napredak's annual assembly in Sarajevo on Saturday, Franjo
Topic said continued emigration was probably the biggest problem for Bosnian
Croats.
He added, however, that 12,000 Bosnian Croat refugees had returned to
prewar homes in Travnik and 18,000 to Jajce.
Croatian Ambassador Josip Vrbosic confirmed Croatia would continue
helping Croats in Bosnia as this was important for the development of good
neighbourly relations.
