still undermines the smooth conducting of the trial of former Yugoslav and
Serbian president Slobodan Milosevic before the Hague-based UN war crimes
tribunal in The Hague. On Wednesday the trial chamber decided to adjourn the
main hearing until 18 October as the court-appointed lawyer for the indictee,
Steven Kay, managed to ensure only one defence witness this week.
