PODGORICA, Sept 25 (Hina) - Montenegrin President Filip Vujanovic
said on Saturday that because of Serbia's failure to cooperation with the
International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), Montenegro
became the hostage of Serbia, "Montenegro would have already been close to the Partnership for Peace
programme had Serbia cooperated with the Hague-based tribunal and withdrawn the
law-suit against NATO member countries," Vujanovic told TV Montenegro.
"Serbia and Montenegro see their obligations towards the ICTY
differently. Serbia's conducts slows down the association of the state
community with the European Union and Nato's Partnership for Peace programme,"
Vujanovic said.
