crossed the demarcation line in the Bay of Savudrija (which Slovenes refer to
as the Bay of Piran), heading towards two Croatian fishing boats, which ended
fishing for today under the protection of a Croatian police boat.The latest incident, fourth this week, happened two miles south of the
demarcation line in Croatian territorial waters at 13:35 hours, the
vice-president of the Buje region fishermen's guild, Danilo Latin, said.
Latin's statement was confirmed by the spokesman of the Istria County
police department, Robert Pavlekovic.
After the Slovene police boat left Croatian territorial waters around
15:00 hours, the Croatian police patrol boat returned to Savudrija Bay as
well.
