ZAGREB, Sept 13 (Hina) - The traditionally good cooperation between
Croatia and Iran has made it possible to stage the "7000 Years of Persian Art"
exhibition in Zagreb, Croatian Culture Minister Bozo Biskupic said at a news
conference in Zagreb's "Mimara" museum on Monday.Following exhibitions in Vienna's Kunsthistorische Museum and in several
other European cities, the exhibits from the Iranian National Museum in Tehran
will be put on display in the "Mimara" museum on September 29.
The exhibition is unique and one of the most valuable ones, Iranian
Ambassador to Croatia Jafar Shamsian said, adding that his government passed a
special decree to allow the staging of the exhibition in Croatia due to legal
restrictions.
The exhibition will be open from 29 September to 31 January 2005.
