The Igman Initiative is an international co-ordinating body of NGOs, and the Zagreb-based GOLJP is one of its founders.
The conference will be addressed, among others, by Croatian and Serbia and Montenegro's presidents Stjepan Mesic and Svetozar Marovic respectively, the President of the Bosnian Presidency, Sulejman Tihic, heads of the OSCE missions to Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro and Bosnia-Herzegovina, and the head of the European Commission's mission to Croatia, Jacques Wunenburger.
The event will address, among other topics, the restoration of understanding and trust in the region, obstacles, challenges and opportunities on the road to Europe, and regional cultural identity.
