Nineteen best museum and heritage projects from 14 countries, including three from Croatia, will be presented at the event which will last several days. The second part of the event will be dedicated to heritage studies.
The event, organised by the European Heritage Association from Zagreb and financed by the Croatian Culture Ministry, is held under the patronage of UNESCO, the International Council of Museums (ICOM), the Europa Nostra association, the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS), and the city of Dubrovnik.
The event, which is held in Dubrovnik for the third time, is the only event of this kind in the world.
The present were addressed by Croatian Assistant Culture Minister Branka Sulc, the chairman of the International Council of Museums, Jacques Perot, and UNESCO representative Marie-Paule Roudil.
