In his sermon, Cardinal Bozanic said among other things that a feeling of tiredness could be felt among a large section of the population, and that some would like to erase the Croatian people's memory.
Addressing the youth, Bozanic said that "many wish to modernise us by offering us some kind of faddishness" and that "some try to enslave our youth through various entertainment markets".
Cardinal Bozanic urged the faithful to pray for the victims of the recent terror attack in Beslan, North Ossetia.
