LJUBLJANA, Aug 28 (Hina) - Slovene Prime Minister Anton Rop said onSaturday that the initialed Drnovsek-Racan agreement on the borderfrom 2001 was a good foundation for the solving of the border issuewhich hampered the Croatia-Slovenia relations.
LJUBLJANA, Aug 28 (Hina) - Slovene Prime Minister Anton Rop said on Saturday that the initialed Drnovsek-Racan agreement on the border from 2001 was a good foundation for the solving of the border issue which hampered the Croatia-Slovenia relations.

"That was a good foundation for the solving of our relations regardless of the fact that the agreement was never realised," Rop told Primorske Novice daily.

According to the Slovene news agency STA, Rop said that in the process of drawing closer to the European Union Croatia would be forced to search for a solution to the border issue with Slovenia.
